Meet The Coach
Josh Sheridan
“For me, coaching has always been about helping young athletes realise what they’re capable of.”
I’m Josh Sheridan, founder of Peak Athlete Training and a lifelong rugby player with close to 20 years involved in the game.
From playing representative rugby and First Grade with the Warringah Rats to working within high-performance environments as a Strength & Conditioning Coach for the NSW Waratahs Women, rugby has played a major role in shaping who I am.
But over time, my focus shifted beyond just performance.
What drives me most is helping young athletes build confidence, resilience, discipline, and belief in themselves through sport. I genuinely believe the right coaching environment can have a massive impact on a young person’s development, not just as an athlete, but as a person.
That belief is what led me to create Peak Athlete Training.
With a background in Exercise & Sport Science from the The University of Sydney and more than six years coaching junior rugby through the Narrabeen Tigers and representative pathways, I’ve worked with athletes across all stages of development, from beginners finding confidence in the game to players chasing higher representative honours.
At Peak Athlete Training, the goal has always been bigger than just creating better rugby players.
It’s about helping young athletes train smarter, grow stronger, and develop the confidence and mindset to reach their full potential both on and off the field.
